Tehran: Iran's newly appointed Consul General in Kazan, Russia, Mohammad Basraei, met with Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi ahead of departing for his post to present his proposed agenda for advancing bilateral ties.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, during the meeting, Araghchi underscored the importance of relations between the Islamic Republic of Iran and Russia, stressing the need to strengthen bilateral cooperation across all areas of mutual interest, particularly in the economic, cultural, and scientific fields.
