Tehran:The President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Masoud Pezeshkian, has underscored the importance of national unity and solidarity in overcoming the country's current challenges. He asserted that no external force can halt Iran's progress if its citizens remain united and reject exclusionary practices.
According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Pezeshkian made these remarks during a meeting with notable figures, including scientists, cultural personalities, sports veterans, and academic elites from Tehran Province. He cautioned that internal divisions and self-imposed limitations could weaken national strength, emphasizing the need to avoid marginalizing any segment of the population.
Pezeshkian directed Tehran's governor and mayor to focus on addressing the issues faced by retired athletes, highlighting the importance of honoring veterans to inspire younger generations. He also advocated for a sustainable employment model to ensure the professional futures of national champions.
On the education front, the president stated that he had participated in over 80 meetings aimed at improving teaching methods in schools and universities. He emphasized the necessity of equal access to educational resources nationwide, while acknowledging that structural reforms would require time.
Furthermore, Pezeshkian reiterated the government's commitment to providing every Iranian with a family doctor, noting that the current healthcare system does not guarantee equitable access to medical services.
Addressing energy shortages, he affirmed the government's resolve to maintain production, even if it necessitates suspending certain state operations to conserve energy. He also mentioned the construction of 35,000 classrooms with public involvement, equipping them with modern educational tools, and exploring artificial intelligence to enhance learning.
Pezeshkian called for national unity, perseverance, and cooperation, expressing that every city and village in Iran could become a model of success if individuals are given the opportunity to reach their full potential.
