IRGC Asserts Control Over Strait of Hormuz Amidst Regional Tensions

Khomain:Iranian Armed Forces maintain operational control over the strategically critical Strait of Hormuz, as declared by Major General Mostafa Izadi, Deputy Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC). The control is set to persist as long as deemed necessary by the Islamic Republic.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Major General Izadi, addressing a gathering in Khomain, emphasized the operational and intelligence superiority of the IRGC Navy and Aerospace Forces in the region. He highlighted the role of public support as crucial in maintaining these achievements and countering adversarial efforts.

Izadi pointed out Iran's missile capabilities, stating that American forces have retreated approximately 700 kilometers at sea to avoid potential threats from IRGC missiles. He referenced past conflicts, the 12-day and 40-day wars, where Iran, supported by its people, successfully repelled enemy forces.

He further stated that psychological warfare and propaganda efforts by adversaries are ineffective in changing the battlefield outcomes, attributing Iran's victories to the resilience and determination of its people.
