Tehran: The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) has announced that it successfully targeted a United States early-warning radar system and various military facilities located at the Ali Al Salem Air Base in Kuwait. This attack is part of a broader operation by the IRGC in response to the United States' actions against Iran.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, the IRGC released a statement on Monday that specifically addressed the people of Kuwait. It claimed that a drone strike had "completely destroyed" the American radar system. Additionally, the statement detailed that a separate attack had targeted a warehouse containing aviation equipment and spare parts, as well as an MQ-9 drone hangar at the base, resulting in multiple drones being set on fire.

The IRGC statement urged the Kuwaiti population to prevent their land from being used for military efforts that result in the deaths of Muslims in Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan, and Palestine. It referenced past hostilities, claiming that 140 days prior, the United States military had initiated a conflict that began with a massacre at a school in Minab and the assassination of a key religious figure, Martyred Imam Khamenei.

The statement further emphasized that Kuwaiti territory should not act as a refuge for what it described as a "terrorist army" that has historically attacked numerous Muslim nations, causing millions of deaths. The IRGC cited religious rulings that label the US military as an aggressor.

Addressing the Kuwaiti public, the IRGC called upon them to uphold their religious obligations and safeguard the honor of Islamic territories. It urged them to prevent their nation from serving as a base for military aggression and the subsequent loss of Muslim lives.
