Urmia: Major General Hossein Salami, the commander-in-chief of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC), emphasized that adversaries are consistently compelled to retreat and adjust their stance towards Iran due to their inability to undermine the potent faith of the Iranian people. Salami’s remarks were made during a ceremony in Urmia, the capital of West Azarbaijan Province, commemorating Iranian war veterans.
According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Salami pointed out that the adversaries of Iran are forced to continuously alter their tactics and positions because they are unable to break the strong faith of the Iranian people, which is deeply rooted in their Islamic beliefs. He highlighted that the nation is engaged in a comprehensive defense as it faces hostilities across political, economic, and military arenas.
Salami further stated, “Today, we are in a full-scale war and all battlefronts are active, yet the country is enjoying security and peace, and all branches of the system are functioning normally, which is credible.” He underscored the resilience of the Iranian nation under the leadership of Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, noting that despite escalating political pressures from adversaries, Iran continues to emerge victorious.
