IRGC Criticizes US Bomb Naming, Emphasizes Resilience

Baku:Brigadier General Hossein Mohebbi, spokesperson for the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC), has criticized the United States for naming its most powerful non-nuclear bomb the 'Mother of All Bombs.' He conveyed that the future belongs to a nation that can make humor out of enemy threats.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Mohebbi expressed his disapproval of using the term 'mother' for such a bomb, calling it a reflection of a barbaric civilization. He suggested that a nation's strength lies in its ability to turn threats into public humor.

These comments arise amidst tensions between the United States and Iran, with the US potentially considering new military operations. Both countries have been at a stalemate since the conflict initiated by the US and Israel on February 28. Iran has committed to defending itself and promises a robust response if any further aggression occurs.

Recent US media reports indicate that Washington may target Iran's energy infrastructure and nuclear sites using the GBU-43/B Massive Ordnance Air Blast, should military action be approved by President Donald Trump.
