IRGC Declares Strikes on US Military Facilities in Kuwait During Operation Nasr-2

Tehran: The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) announces that it has carried out a new wave of missile and drone strikes targeting US military facilities in Kuwait, saying several strategic installations were destroyed as part of the ongoing Operation Nasr-2 (Victory-2).

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, the IRGC's Aerospace Force and Ground Force launched the fourth and sixth waves of the operation in retaliation for recent US attacks on targets in Iran. The strikes reportedly targeted the KJL facility, the primary logistics and supply hub for US forces across West Asia, located in Mina Abdullah, Kuwait. The IRGC claimed that this facility was set ablaze and destroyed.

Additionally, missile and drone attacks struck a US satellite communications center, missile defense and air defense radar systems, a Patriot air defense complex, military logistics facilities, and HIMARS missile launch platforms stationed in Kuwait. The IRGC framed these actions as a direct response to US military operations against Iranian territory.

In a statement, the IRGC addressed the people of Kuwait, emphasizing that Iran harbors no hostility toward the Kuwaiti nation. The attacks, they stressed, were aimed solely at American military forces operating from bases within Kuwait. The IRGC urged Kuwaiti citizens to advocate for the removal of US troops, arguing that foreign military bases are the source of aggression against Iran.

The IRGC also reiterated its stance that retaliatory operations would continue and announced that the Strait of Hormuz would remain closed until US military actions cease.
