Tehran: The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) has initiated the third wave of Operation Nasr-2, targeting US military facilities in Bahrain and Kuwait. This move comes in direct response to what the IRGC describes as renewed US aggression earlier on Tuesday. According to Islamic Republic News Agency, the IRGC released a statement on Tuesday evening detailing the coordinated missile and drone attack executed by their naval and aerospace units. The operation, conducted under the code name 'Ya Zain al-Abidin,' aimed to retaliate against the US actions. The statement further elaborated that the strikes resulted in the destruction of multiple warehouses at Bahrain's Sheikh Isa base, which stored weapons and parts for naval vessels and aircraft. In Kuwait, the IRGC targeted the MQ-9 drone deployment ramp at Ali Al Salem Air Base, leading to the destruction or damage of several drones. The IRGC emphasized that these operations were a response to the afternoon attacks by the US military on Iranian coastal sta tions. It warned that continued US military actions would result in further retaliation and would prevent the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz, thereby halting regional oil and gas exports. The statement concluded with a stern warning that further US actions would be met with surprising responses and reiterated that no oil or gas would be exported from the region as long as US activities continued. The IRGC emphasized its commitment to continuing retaliation as long as they perceive crimes by the US to persist.
