Tehran: Iran's Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) has announced that its Aerospace Force executed a missile strike on four military targets located at the US al-Azraq Airbase in Jordan. The IRGC's statement, relayed by Sepah News, specified that the targets included hangars housing F-35 fighter jets and a command-and-control center utilized by the US military.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, the IRGC reported that the targets were effectively destroyed using long-range solid-fuel missiles. The attack was described as a retaliatory measure in response to ongoing hostile actions by the United States. The IRGC highlighted a previous naval operation against US air and naval bases in the region and the downing of an MQ-9 drone over southern Iran as preceding events leading to this attack.

The IRGC issued a warning emphasizing their readiness to deliver a 'decisive and crushing' response to any further attacks. The statement also indicated that the United States would be held accountable for the ramifications of any future aggression.
