Tehran: The commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Navy has praised the Iranian public for 200 consecutive nights of nationwide demonstrations in support of the armed forces.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Rear Admiral Ali Ozamaei, in a message marking the 200th night of the demonstrations on Tuesday, expressed gratitude to Iranians for their 'heroic' presence. Ozamaei emphasized that the ongoing gatherings are a testament to national unity and resilience.

The Iranian commander noted that the steadfast support of the Iranian nation has been a motivating factor for the sacrifice and determination of the armed forces, particularly on the southern front and at sea. He pointed out that the Persian Gulf and the Strait of Hormuz have been free of the presence of US forces and other adversaries over the past 200 days, asserting that Iranian forces are committed to preventing the return of oppressors to these strategic waterways.

Rear Admiral Ozamaei urged the public to continue their presence in demonstrations to further bolster national unity. Additionally, Iran's Judiciary Chief Gholamhossein Mohseni-Ejei also lauded the demonstrations, highlighting them as a significant display of public support for Iran's armed forces.
