Rome:Strait Of Hormuz The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Navy has reported the interception of two oil tankers in the southern waters of the Strait of Hormuz. These vessels, located at the eastern and western parts of the strait, intended to pass through an unauthorized route.
According to Islamic Republic News Agency, the tankers turned off their navigation and positioning systems and attempted to exit through the unauthorized route with support from the US military, which the IRGC referred to as the "US terrorist army."
After ignoring several radio warnings, the tankers entered an unsafe zone, resulting in accidents and their subsequent halting on the southern shores of the Strait of Hormuz. The IRGC stated that the stopping and burning of these vessels were due to the disruptive actions of the American forces and the tankers' non-compliance with Iranian regulations in the region.
