Tehran:Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council, Major General Mohsen Rezaei, has praised the Leader of the Islamic Revolution for his comprehensive command over national affairs, asserting that this authoritative leadership will enhance the nation's pride.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Rezaei highlighted the Leader's mastery over a wide range of issues including cultural, military, political, economic, and social domains. He emphasized that the Leader's wise leadership and dedication to solving the people's problems are pivotal for the country's glory and the defeat of its adversaries.

During a meeting on October 27, 2026, with Ayatollah Sayyid Mojtaba Hosseini Khamenei, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, the importance of the Supreme National Security Council and its Secretariat as central to policymaking was underscored. Ayatollah Khamenei stressed the interconnection between culture, politics, economy, and security and the necessity for decisions in these areas to be supported by appropriate measures.

The discussion also covered topics such as reinforcing national cohesion and unity, enhancing mutual trust between the people and officials, and leveraging constitutional capacities, especially Article 176, to aid the President and executive bodies in addressing national issues efficiently. The Leader underlined the importance of safeguarding the Strait of Hormuz to ensure national and regional security and advocated for strengthening bilateral relations with neighboring countries based on mutual and enduring interests.
