Accra:The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Navy has issued a stern warning to ships violating Iranian regulations in the Strait of Hormuz, emphasizing the consequences of depending on the "terrorist US military."

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, the IRGC Navy declared that the Strait of Hormuz is closed. It cautioned that any vessels disregarding Iranian rules in this crucial maritime passage would face severe repercussions.

In a related incident, the IRGC Navy reported that a supertanker carrying over two million barrels of crude oil caught fire. The vessel struck a naval mine while attempting to navigate the Strait of Hormuz via an unauthorized route.
