IRGC Official Warns of More Surprises if US Aggression Continues

Tehran: Brigadier General Ramezan Sharif, advisor to the chief commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC), has stated that if the enemy persists in its aggression and miscalculations against Iran, it should anticipate more unprecedented Iranian responses that will once again alter the region's strategic dynamics in favor of the country.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, on Wednesday, Sharif praised the recent seizure of an unmanned American submarine in the strategic Strait of Hormuz. He described this action as a pivotal moment in integrating the Strait of Hormuz into regional power equations, and regarded it as a strategic and deterrent asset for the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Sharif emphasized that the entire region is under the precise, comprehensive, and real-time surveillance and intelligence dominance of Iran's powerful Armed Forces. He highlighted that adversaries, particularly the US and Israel, may engage in warmongering and sabotage to undermine Iran, but they must acknowledge the realities imposed on the battlefield.

In a statement released on Tuesday, the IRGC announced that its naval forces had captured "one of the most modern, smart, and unmanned submarines of the US terrorist army" at the entrance to the Strait of Hormuz. This was achieved through a complex intelligence and operational operation. The statement noted that the submarine was equipped with the latest technology, which was delivered to the American naval fleet in 2025.
