Kermanshah: IRNA CEO Hossein Jaberi-Ansari called for efforts to preserve the country’s diversity within the framework of Iranian-Islamic values and with perspective and planning during a meeting with the Sunni Friday prayer leader of Kermanshah on Wednesday.
According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Jaberi-Ansari said the Islamic Republic’s value lies in its ethnic, religious and cultural diversity. He said Iran and Islam are the link between all people and added, “This diversity and colorfulness should not be viewed as a threat, rather a unique opportunity that we should take advantage of.” He said IRNA bears responsibility for presenting a picture of Iran and for covering developments and portraying diversity and colorfulness, especially in provinces like Kermanshah. He described Kermanshah as one of the symbols of ethnic and religious coexistence and said it has capacity to reflect cohesion. He said IRNA has tried to act as a two-way bridge between the administration and the people to reflect the concerns and opinions of all segments of society, but said the goal has not been fully achieved and that IRNA is still far from the desired point. nd the borders.
