Tehran: A Turkish Islamic scholar believes that Islamic unity, based on the vision of Martyr Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, is a Quranic necessity and the true foundation for confronting arrogance and Zionism. Speaking to IRNA on the sidelines of the 40th Islamic Unity Conference in Tehran, Akram Kelish, former deputy head of the Supreme Council of Religious Affairs of Turkey, praised the martyred Leader's unique attention to Muslim unity and emphasized: Unity among Muslims will save the Islamic Ummah from collapse.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, the idea of 'Islamic unity' in the Muslim world was established by the founder of the Islamic Revolution, Imam Khomeini, and consistently pursued by Martyr Leader Ayatollah Khamenei. Kelish highlighted that the Marty Leader consistently paid special attention to the Palestinian cause and reminded Muslim nations of maintaining unity in confronting the Zionists.

Regarding Iran's stance against arrogance, the Turkish scholar noted that the world is witnessing Iran's firm position against the Zionists and arrogance, standing strongly against them.
