Tehran: Reacting to the Israeli regime’s attack on the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (I.R.I.B.) headquarters in Tehran on Monday, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baqaei has said that the ‘Israeli regime is the biggest enemy of truth and is the No.1 killer of journalists and media people.’

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Baqaei condemned the attack vehemently, describing it as a “wicked act of war crime” that occurred during a live broadcast. He emphasized the gravity of the situation, stating that the world is observing the escalating aggression towards Iran’s media entities.

Baqaei further urged the United Nations Security Council to intervene and compel the Israeli regime to cease its aggressive actions against Iran. He stressed the urgency of the situation, declaring, “The U.N.S.C. must act now to stop the genocidal aggressor from committing further atrocities against our people.”
