Judiciary Chief from Iran Attends BRICS Summit in New Delhi

New delhi: Judiciary Chief Gholam-Hossein Mohseni-Ejei, leading a distinguished judicial and legal delegation, has arrived in New Delhi, India, to participate in the BRICS meeting of judicial leaders.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Mohseni-Ejei stated, prior to his departure from Tehran on Thursday, that his visit is in response to an official invitation from India's top judicial authority. The summit will primarily focus on issues related to global trade, with additional discussions scheduled on various topics on the sidelines of the event.

Mohseni-Ejei emphasized his intention to highlight the crimes and hostilities perpetrated by the United States and Israel against the Iranian nation during the recent wars of aggression. He noted that these regimes did not succeed in achieving their objectives.

The itinerary for the trip includes attending the opening and closing ceremonies of the BRICS judicial summit, engaging in bilateral meetings with judicial officials from member states, and participating in specialized panels.
