New delhi: Iran's Judiciary Chief, Gholam-Hossein Mohseni-Ejei, has embarked on a significant visit to India with the aim of addressing key issues related to international trade and sharing the perspectives of the Iranian people on a global platform.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Mohseni-Ejei, accompanied by a high-level judicial and legal delegation, left Tehran on September 3 to participate in the BRICS meeting of judicial leaders held in New Delhi. His visit is at the official invitation of India's top judicial authority and is intended to focus on global trade discussions, alongside other pertinent issues.

Before his departure, Mohseni-Ejei articulated his intention to highlight what he described as crimes and aggressions perpetrated by the United States and Israel against Iran during recent conflicts. He emphasized that both nations did not achieve their objectives, and he plans to bring these issues to the forefront during the summit.

The visit will involve Mohseni-Ejei's participation in the opening and closing ceremonies of the BRICS judicial summit. He is also set to engage in bilateral meetings with judicial officials from member states and attend specialized panels to facilitate discussions on various legal and trade matters.
