Tehran: Gholam-Ali Haddad Adel, a veteran politician and member of the Supreme Council of Cultural Revolution, has praised Martyr Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei for his wisdom-driven decision-making, even amidst political pressures. Speaking at a ceremony held at Tehran's Tarbiat Modares University to honor the martyred Leader of the Islamic Revolution and several members of his household, Haddad Adel highlighted the late Ayatollah Khamenei's emphasis on the principles of 'honor, wisdom, and expediency' in foreign policy.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Haddad Adel defined wise action as making decisions based on a correct understanding of conditions and foresight. He commended the martyred Leader for his insightful perspective and ability to manage crises, including significant events in 2019. Haddad Adel further noted that Ayatollah Khamenei's extensive knowledge in scientific, historical, cultural, and technological subjects played a crucial role in preserving the country's system and interests.

Haddad Adel also expressed his gratitude towards the Iranian and Iraqi nations for their roles in the historic funeral ceremonies of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution and his family, describing it as a monumental chapter in the Islamic Revolution. He pointed to Ayatollah Khamenei's scientific endeavors, citing Tarbiat Modares University as a testament to the martyred Leader's commitment during his time in office.

He emphasized that many scientific institutions, foundations, and councils were established during Ayatollah Khamenei's 36-year leadership due to his active support and guidance. These included advancements in nuclear technology, nanotechnology, biotechnology, stem cells, cognitive sciences, and information technology. Despite initial challenges, including difficulties in securing barbed wire at the revolution's onset, the country has since achieved substantial scientific and technological progress, maintaining its power across various fields.
