Al-Quds: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced that Israel and the United States are working in "full cooperation" to establish a 'common strategy' concerning the Gaza Strip. This collaboration follows a meeting with U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio on Sunday.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Netanyahu mentioned that during his discussion with Rubio, they focused on what he described as U.S. President Donald Trump's 'bold vision' for Gaza's future. This plan, which has been firmly rejected by both Palestinians and Arab nations, involves the U.S. taking control of Gaza and forcibly relocating its population to neighboring countries.

Netanyahu reaffirmed Israel's dedication to achieving its military objectives in Gaza, despite the presence of a fragile ceasefire that concluded over 15 months of significant Israeli military operations. He expressed gratitude for Rubio's 'unequivocal support' for Israel, emphasizing that Israel and the U.S., under Trump's leadership, share a unified approach regarding Gaza.

Rubio, on his first Middle East tour, stated, "Hamas cannot continue as a military or government force." He met with Netanyahu in al-Quds and is expected to advocate for Trump's contentious plan to assume control of Gaza and relocate its residents during his visit.
