Hormuz:An oil tanker caught fire in the early hours of Thursday after hitting a naval mine while navigating through a perilous area east of the Strait of Hormuz, according to reports from the Iranian Navy.
According to Islamic Republic News Agency, the incident involved a tanker that had turned off its navigation systems, a practice observed in other recent incidents where tankers have hit naval mines and caught fire.
The Iranian Navy has reiterated warnings to tanker owners about the dangers of navigating the Strait of Hormuz without proper coordination, declaring the area unsafe and closed to unauthorized vessels. The Navy emphasized that engaging in conflict with Iran leads to inevitable defeat.
