Tehran: The head of the provincial customs office of Bushehr has reported that $2.364 billion worth of goods have been exported from the province's customs offices in the first five months of this Iranian calendar year, spanning from March 20 to August 20.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Ali Soleimani detailed that the province's exports are categorized into gas condensates, petrochemical products, and other goods. The Pars Special Economic Energy Zone (PSEEZ) has played a significant role, accounting for 82% of the total export volume and 87% of the total export value.

During the five-month period, 5.1 million metric tons of goods valued at $2.364 billion were exported from the customs offices and ports of Bushehr. The customs supervisor highlighted that traders and merchants in the province have successfully exported goods to 32 countries this year.

The main destinations of Bushehr's exports include China, the United Arab Emirates, Pakistan, Turkey, India, Oman, Sri Lanka, Russia, Singapore, and Malaysia. The province's major export items consist of petrochemical products, various liquefied gases, cement and clinker, different types of fish and shrimp, and stone products.
