Tehran: Pakistan’s Federal Minister for Defense Production, Muhammad Raza Hayat Harraj, has urged for broadening defense cooperation with Iran. Hayat Harraj met with Reza Amiri-Moghaddam, the Iranian Ambassador to Pakistan, in Rawalpindi on Wednesday to discuss recent developments in bilateral relations.
According to Islamic Republic News Agency, the Federal Minister emphasized that Pakistan attaches great importance to relations with the Islamic Republic of Iran, adding that the Pakistani government, especially the Ministry of Defense Production, is committed to expanding cooperation with Tehran. He also noted that the two countries maintain cordial relations, which continue to strengthen.
Hayat Harraj emphasized the Pakistani government’s commitment to pursuing solutions that enhance relations with the Islamic Republic of Iran. Meanwhile, Amiri-Moghaddam expressed Iran’s eagerness to strengthen its relations with Pakistan further, adding that Tehran aims to expand economic cooperation with Pakistan, alongside increasing regional cooperation.
