Islamabad: Pakistan's Interior Minister Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi has left Islamabad for Tehran to hold talks with senior Iranian officials. Naqvi departed on Monday to engage with high-ranking Iranian authorities and follow up on bilateral cooperation between the two nations.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, the visit is aimed at advancing discussions on expanding ties and coordinating ongoing matters between the neighboring countries. Naqvi has made several trips to Tehran as part of Pakistan's mediation efforts between Iran and the United States.

During his latest visit on August 10, he met with President Masoud Pezeshkian, Major General Mohsen Rezaei, Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, and Iran's Interior Minister Eskandar Momeni.
