Tehran: Emphasizing the importance of fraternal relations between Pakistan and the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Pakistani Minister of Defense and Aviation called for the strengthening of bilateral cooperation between both countries. According to Islamic Republic News Agency, the Pakistani Ministry of Defense announced that Khawaja Muhammad Asif met with Reza Amiri-Moghaddam, Iran's ambassador to Islamabad. The two sides reviewed the latest regional developments and discussed matters of mutual interest as well as bilateral cooperation. The Pakistani Defense Minister emphasized his country's commitment to further strengthening its longstanding, fraternal ties with Iran and enhancing cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
