Pakistani President Joins Iran’s Islamic Revolution Anniversary in Islamabad

Islamabad: Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari was invited as a special guest at a ceremony commemorating the 47th anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution at the Iranian Embassy in Islamabad. Zardari joined dozens of high-ranking Pakistani state and military officials, party leaders, and scholars, as well as diplomats from various countries, all hosted by Iranian Ambassador Reza Amiri Moghadam.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, during the ceremonies, wreaths and bouquets of flowers were presented to Ambassador Moghadam on the National Day of Iran. President Zardari extended his congratulations to the Iranian envoy, the government, and the people of the Islamic Republic on this significant anniversary. Furthermore, he took the opportunity to visit a photo exhibition showcasing Iran's achievements in several fields over the past 47 years, as well as displays of Iranian customs and traditions.

Adding to the celebratory atmosphere, students from Imam Hussain Cultural Center in Islamabad performed the national anthem of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the national anthem of Pakistan in Urdu, enhancing the spirit of solidarity and cultural exchange between the two nations.
