February 11 Marks New Awakening for Islamic Revolution, Says IRGC Commander

Shiraz: Brigadier General Ahmad Vahidi, the deputy commander-in-chief of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC), has stated that the Iranian nation maintains the same vigor and enthusiasm it displayed during and after the victory of the Islamic Revolution. General Vahidi's remarks came at the end of a march commemorating the 47th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution in Shiraz on Wednesday.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, General Vahidi emphasized that the participation and presence of the people in the marches signify a new awakening and a rebirth for the Islamic Revolution. He described this as a new upsurge and a sign that the revolutionary spirit continues to thrive in society.

The IRGC commander drew comparisons between Wednesday's commemoration and the January 12 nationwide rallies against foreign-backed unrest. He noted that the people have consistently demonstrated their support for the Islamic Revolution. General Vahidi highlighted that the nation, with unchanged energy and motivation, delivered a message that no one should consider conspiring against the country.

He issued a warning against any attempts to disrupt national unity, stating that anyone who tries to incite sedition and disruption in Iran is effectively aiding the country's adversaries. Addressing Western powers, the US, and Israel, General Vahidi advised them against seeking domination and stressed that they would ultimately yield to the will of the Iranian nation.
