Tehran: Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf has emphasized the importance of maintaining unity between the government and the people, as well as among the officials, in line with the clear and definitive recommendation from Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei to all officials.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, during a Parliament open session on Tuesday, Ghalibaf expressed gratitude for the efforts made by President Masoud Pezeshkian and pledged to leverage all the capacities of Parliament to assist the government in resolving the people’s problems and fulfilling its essential duties.

Ghalibaf also addressed the country’s situation following the 12-day imposed war against the Israeli regime, stating that the war, the people’s sacred defense, and the enemy’s defeat in achieving its objectives have significantly impacted the country’s situation across various dimensions.

He called upon all Iranians to accurately comprehend the situation and take appropriate and timely actions. Ghalibaf highlighted that the Iranian nation delivered a substantial blow to the enemy’s schemes and thwarted their plans to disintegrate Iran by fully supporting the country’s military forces and political officials.

Emphasizing the priority and urgency, Ghalibaf reiterated the importance of strengthening Iran’s defense capabilities.
