Tehran: President Masoud Pezeshkian has expressed gratitude for the significant role played by the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Hosseini Khamenei, in including clauses that protect national interests within a memorandum of understanding (MoU). According to Islamic Republic News Agency, President Pezeshkian conveyed his appreciation through a post on his X account. He noted that after extensive discussions, a substantial majority of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) members endorsed the MoU text. This endorsement is seen as a means to evaluate America's true commitment to respecting the rights of the Iranian people. Pezeshkian emphasized that the guidance of the Leader was pivotal in incorporating provisions that safeguard Iranian national interests. He expressed gratitude for this influential role in the process.
