Tehran: President Masoud Pezeshkian extended his congratulations to Hojjat al-Islam Hossein Taeb on his appointment as the head of the Basij Organization. He referred to the organization as a "blessed tree" and a lasting legacy of the late founder of the Islamic Revolution, Imam Khomeini. Strengthening the bond between the people and public institutions has become increasingly crucial, he noted.
According to Islamic Republic News Agency, the appointment of Hojjat al-Islam Hossein Taeb was made official through a recent decree issued by the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Sayyid Mojtaba Hosseini Khamenei.
