Turkmenbashi:President Masoud Pezeshkian has departed Turkmenistan for Tehran following his participation in two significant summits where regional leaders gathered to discuss common issues.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Pezeshkian attended the Council of Heads of State of the Commonwealth of Independent States and the Environmental Summit of the Heads of Caspian Sea Littoral States during his visit to Turkmenbashi. He delivered speeches addressing regional challenges and underscored the importance of multilateral relations and energy cooperation.

During his two-day visit, Pezeshkian met with the presidents of Russia, the Republic of Azerbaijan, and Turkmenistan, as well as the Prime Minister of Armenia and the Secretary-General of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization. His discussions and speeches also covered topics such as countering unilateralism and addressing political, economic, social, and security matters in the region.
