Pezeshkian Expresses Iran’s Willingness to Enhance Ties with Nepal

Tehran: President Masoud Pezeshkian has congratulated the appointment of Nepal's new prime minister, emphasizing Iran's readiness to expand comprehensive cooperation with the country.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Pezeshkian conveyed his message to the newly appointed Nepalese Prime Minister Balendra Shah, highlighting the importance of the friendly relations that Iran and Nepal have maintained over the past six decades. He underscored that these relations have always been founded on mutual respect and common interests.

Pezeshkian expressed Iran's readiness to enhance cooperation with Nepal across various sectors, including economic, commercial, energy, tourism, agricultural, and educational fields. He conveyed his best wishes for the success of Balendra Shah and the progress and prosperity of the Nepalese people.

Pezeshkian further expressed his hope that the valuable experiences of the Nepalese prime minister in executive and political arenas would play a crucial role in strengthening these relations and opening new horizons for cooperation between the two countries.
