Tehran: Iran’s President Masoud Pezeshkian has congratulated his Kyrgyz counterpart Sadyr Japarov on the anniversary of Kyrgyzstan’s Independence Day. In a message addressed to President Japarov, Pezeshkian conveyed his felicitations to the government and people of the friendly and brotherly country of Kyrgyzstan.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, the Iranian president also expressed the Islamic Republic’s readiness to expand cooperation aimed at strengthening bilateral relations in all fields. Kyrgyzstan celebrates its Independence Day on August 31. On that day in 1991, the Supreme Council of the Republic of Kyrgyzstan adopted a law on the ‘Declaration on State Independence of the Republic of Kyrgyzstan.’
