Tehran: President Masoud Pezeshkian has inaugurated 18,910 municipal and rural development projects across the country, with a total investment exceeding 640 million dollars. In a ceremony marking Government Week in Tehran on Saturday, Pezeshkian stressed the administration's commitment to serving the people, preserving national unity and cohesion, and advancing the country's development.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Pezeshkian addressed regional issues, emphasizing that Iran is not the initiator of war but will stand firmly against any aggressor and will not surrender to threats. 'We do not seek war, but we will stand firmly against any aggressor, and no power can force a nation that stands with full resolve and strength to surrender,' he stated.

He further called for strengthening unity and convergence among Muslim countries to counter external pressures and promote regional stability, saying that peace and stability in the region must emerge from within the region itself.
