Tehran: President Masoud Pezeshkian has described the Islamic Republic of Iran's Army as a symbol of national dignity, authority, and independence. On Saturday, Pezeshkian issued a message marking National Army Day, congratulating military personnel, their families, and the Iranian nation.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, the president highlighted the Army's role in safeguarding territorial integrity and maintaining societal peace, stressing the importance of faith, discipline, expertise, and a revolutionary spirit in fulfilling the missions of this people-centered force. In light of the country's sensitive situation and existing threats, he emphasized the synergy and preparedness of the armed forces to defend the nation, describing the Army's role, alongside other defense pillars, as both crucial and impactful.

Pezeshkian also characterized the Army's deep bond with the people and its active presence in relief and service operations as distinguished features of the Islamic Republic of Iran's Army.
