Tehran: The Leader of the Islamic Revolution has issued a message on the occasion of National Army Day, emphasizing that the Islamic Army continues to bravely defend the land, water, and flag of Iran, as it did during previous conflicts.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Hosseini Khamenei conveyed his message on the anniversary of the creation of the Islamic Republic of Iran's Army and the birthday anniversary of the martyred Leader. He extended his congratulations to everyone in the Army, their families, and the nation of Iran.

Ayatollah Khamenei noted that the Islamic Army stands strong, with support from both God and the people, in its fight against opposing forces. He stated, "With its strong support from God and the people, in compact, solid ranks, and standing side by side with their comrades from the other armed forces, it's battling the two leading armies of disbelief and Arrogance."

The message highlighted the transformation of the Army since the Islamic Revolution, marking the end of a period of weakness and its emergence as a defender of the nation against both internal and external adversaries. The Army, once under the control of the Pahlavi regime, now enjoys the support of the Iranian people.

Ayatollah Khamenei also commemorated the birthday of the martyred Leader who played a crucial role in protecting and enhancing the Army's capabilities. He urged continued efforts to increase the Army's capabilities, recognizing the contributions of past leaders and martyrs who have shaped the institution.

The message concluded with prayers and blessings for the members of the Armed Forces, their families, and the martyrs who have sacrificed in defense of Iran.
