New delhi: Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has met with his Indian counterpart Droupadi Murmu on the sidelines of the 18th BRICS Summit in New Delhi. The meeting took place during Pezeshkian's visit to India, where he is attending the summit.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, the Iranian Presidency reported that Pezeshkian held talks with Murmu on Saturday. The Iranian president arrived in New Delhi on Friday and also held discussions with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. In addition to his meetings with Indian officials, Pezeshkian has engaged in bilateral discussions with the Malaysian and Ethiopian prime ministers.
