Vienna: The head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) has embarked on a journey to Vienna to participate in the 70th International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) General Conference and engage in discussions with diplomats regarding nuclear cooperation.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Mohammad Eslami departed from Tehran to Vienna on Saturday, leading a delegation of AEOI officials. The purpose of the visit is to attend the annual General Conference of the IAEA. Eslami is scheduled to deliver a speech at the conference and engage with ambassadors and representatives from numerous countries. The discussions will focus on nuclear cooperation, scientific and technological exchanges, and fostering bilateral and international engagement.

AEOI deputies and officials accompanying Eslami are also set to meet with foreign representatives to explore various areas of nuclear cooperation throughout the event. The 70th Regular Session of the IAEA General Conference is scheduled to take place from September 14 to 18 at the Vienna International Center, Austria. During the conference, high-ranking officials and representatives from IAEA member states will address a variety of issues pertinent to the nuclear field, as outlined in an announcement on the agency's official website.
