Tehran: President Masoud Pezeshkian has expressed gratitude to all members of the Academic Center for Education, Culture and Research (ACECR), noting that the administration will be able to solve many issues with their cooperation.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, during the ceremony commemorating the 45th anniversary of the establishment of ACECR, President Pezeshkian emphasized the crucial role of scholars and ACECR members in addressing the nation’s challenges. He expressed hope that these scholars, who are deeply committed to the country, will collaborate with the administration to tackle various issues.

At the start of the ceremony, President Pezeshkian paid tribute to the martyrs of the Islamic Revolution, particularly those from the 12-day war imposed by the Israeli regime. He highlighted the sacrifices made by the nation’s people against adversarial schemes and noted the loss of over 20,000 volunteers due to enemy actions. Pezeshkian emphasized that these sacrifices were aimed at derailing
the revolution, and he lamented the loss of elites who could have addressed current challenges.

The President articulated the importance of scholars in resolving national problems, asserting that the country’s salvation lies in their hands. He pointed out that the nation faces significant challenges, such as the water crisis and land subsidence, due to imbalances between resources and consumption under the guise of development.

Pezeshkian also addressed the ongoing hostility from enemies against Iran and regional peoples, criticizing the international community’s response. He condemned the support provided to regimes accused of committing crimes against innocent civilians, particularly in Gaza, and highlighted the discrepancies in narratives propagated by media supporting the Israeli regime.

He questioned the actions of international human rights organizations, urging them to truly understand and uphold human rights. Pezeshkian remarked on the irony of resistance groups being accused of violations while ig
noring the blockade imposed on Gaza, affecting access to essentials like food and medicine.
