Tehran: Iran's police chief, Brigadier General Ahmad-Reza Radan, says that Iranian police forces are capable of both defending the nation and maintaining regional peace and security. Speaking in a cadets graduation ceremony held at Imam Hassan Mojtabi Police Training and Officer University in Tehran on Tuesday, Radan emphasized the foundational role of human capital and public support in the authority of the police. According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Radan highlighted that the true power of law enforcement is not merely dependent on tools and equipment but is derived from unity, operational readiness, intelligence dominance, organizational discipline, and most importantly, the trust of the people. He asserted that law enforcement must remain accountable and trusted by society, as social capital and public trust are the main pillars of the authority of the organization. Radan further noted that by fostering regional convergence and strengthening cooperation with Islamic countries, Iran can project Is lamic dignity and honor on the international stage.
