Zurich: A source close to the negotiating team has reported that a second round of nuclear and sanctions removal talks between Iran and the United States is scheduled to commence around noon today, according to Tehran time, in the Swiss city.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, the informed source revealed that Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi will lead the Iranian delegation, while the American team will be headed by US special envoy Steve Witkoff and President Donald Trump's son-in-law Jared Kushner. Omani Foreign Minister Badr bin Hamad al-Busaidi will act as the intermediary, facilitating the exchange of opinions, considerations, and approaches between the two delegations.

In preparation for the talks, Araghchi shared Iran's perspectives with al-Busaidi during a meeting on Monday. These indirect discussions between Tehran and Washington follow an initial round held in Muscat last week, which both sides described as a 'good start'.
