Tehran:President Masoud Pezeshkian has emphasized the significance of economic diplomacy, dialogue, and national unity as the country navigates sanctions and wartime conditions.
According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Pezeshkian, during a meeting on Thursday, noted that economic diplomacy has been bolstered through increased engagement with neighboring countries and the reduction of customs barriers. This strategy aims to enhance exports, imports, and economic cooperation via land routes.
The president reiterated Iran's dedication to dialogue and negotiations, pointing out that the United States and Europe did not anticipate Iran's capability to manage the country during such challenging times.
He acknowledged the role of the people's resistance and the Armed Forces in strengthening national unity and cohesion. Pezeshkian urged the United States to abandon the belief that Iran can be subdued through assassinations.
Pezeshkian also remarked that while the United States attempts to trigger crises through sanctions and restrictions, unity and coordination within the nation can effectively counter these efforts.
