Tehran: President Masoud Pezeshkian says national unity is the key to Iran’s success and its ability to withstand potential foreign aggression, including from Israel.
According to Islamic Republic News Agency, the president emphasized that national unity and cohesion are vital for the country’s success. He stated, “The only thing that can lead us to success is national unity and cohesion, and anything that undermines this unity is undesirable,” highlighting the necessity of maintaining unity in the face of foreign threats.
Pezeshkian further asserted that a united Iran would deter enemies and the Zionist regime from considering any attacks. He also spoke about the importance of maintaining friendly relations with neighboring countries, urging for unity among Muslims to resist the divisive tactics employed by the United States and Israel.
“Our neighbors are our brothers. Muslims should stand united against enemies, and we must all join hands in solidarity,” said Pezeshkian. He delivered these remarks at the
mausoleum of Imam Khomeini, the late founder of the Islamic Republic.
The president, along with his cabinet members, visited the holy shrine south of Tehran to reaffirm their commitment to Imam Khomeini’s ideals. This visit marked the beginning of Administration Week, which commenced on Sunday.
President Pezeshkian also underscored the importance of fairness in governance, stating, “If we act with fairness in our behavior, we will succeed in serving the people and society. We are all here to be servants of the people.”
