Tehran: A meeting of the heads of the three branches of government was held, hosted by President Masoud Pezeshkian and attended by Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf and Judiciary Chief Gholamhossein Mohseni-Ejei. At the meeting, Pezeshkian presented a report on his trip to India and the outcomes of his participation in the 18th BRICS summit.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, the report highlighted the objectives and results of the visit, including strengthening multilateralism, expanding economic and trade cooperation, and countering unilateralism. President Pezeshkian arrived in New Delhi on September 11 to attend the 18th BRICS Summit. He was welcomed by Indian Minister of State for Ports and Shipping Shantanu Thakur upon arrival.
