Tehran: President Masoud Pezeshkian has declared that Iran will not capitulate to excessive demands at the negotiating table, maintaining the nation's dignity and authority in alignment with the framework set by the Leader of the Islamic Revolution.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, during a ceremony on National Guilds Day, President Pezeshkian honored the martyrs of the recent war, including the late Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei. He also recognized the strategic contributions of guilds and trade unions in upholding national stability throughout the conflict with the US and Israeli regime.

Discussing diplomatic efforts, the president highlighted the government's commitment to building on the achievements of Iran's military and citizens. He emphasized that ongoing negotiations are being conducted with full respect for the nation's rights, vowing not to yield to any attempts to undermine them.

Addressing the situation in Lebanon, President Pezeshkian noted the significant progress made by Iran's negotiating team in compelling the opposition to retreat and halt the violence against Lebanese civilians. He credited this victory to the collective efforts of the Iranian people and various societal segments, including economic actors and fighters on the battlefield.

On economic matters, the president expressed optimism about recent developments, noting the groundwork laid for economic prosperity and increased opportunities for trade, investment, and guild activities. He also outlined Iran's efforts to bolster regional interactions and cooperation, attributing the country's elevated international stature to national unity and solidarity.

The ceremony concluded with the recognition of guild martyrs' families, trade union members, and prominent figures in the guild sector, who were honored with commemorative plaques and trophies.
