Tehran: President Masoud Pezeshkian has announced that Iran will vigorously pursue legal and diplomatic avenues against the US and Israel for their recent acts of aggression. Pezeshkian made this commitment during meetings with special delegations from China, Namibia, and Afghanistan, who were in Tehran to attend the funeral of Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei, the martyred Leader of the Islamic Revolution.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, President Pezeshkian condemned the unprovoked war on Iran, labeling it a clear violation of the UN Charter and international law. He expressed gratitude to the countries that have openly criticized the actions of the US and Israel, viewing their support as vital in addressing the issue on international platforms.

During his discussions with the delegations, Pezeshkian highlighted the importance of international solidarity, thanking China, Namibia, and Afghanistan for their presence and support. He emphasized the tragic loss of Iranian commanders, officials, scientific elites, and innocent citizens, stressing Iran's commitment to holding the perpetrators accountable in global forums.

Pezeshkian also underscored the necessity of strengthening ties with nations that share Iran's perspectives, identifying such relations as pivotal to Iran's foreign policy strategy.
