Moscow: The head of a Russian scholar has condemned the US military aggression against Iran, stating that the Iranian nation, backed by a thousand-year-old civilization, will be victorious in any war.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Alikber Alikberov, the head of the Institute of Oriental Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences (IOS RAS), made the remarks while attending a painting exhibition commemorating the martyred students of Iran's Minab school, held at the Russian Institute of Oriental Studies.

The Russian scholar strongly condemned the US's aggressive act against the Minab school and expressed his deep regret and disgust that authorities in certain countries issue orders to target civilians, particularly children.

Emphasizing that children all over the world should live in peace, he wished the Iranian nation victory in the face of the US aggression.
