Moscow:Russia's Grand Mufti has expressed strong support for Iran and commended President Masoud Pezeshkian's speech delivered at the United Nations General Assembly.
According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Sheikh Ravil Gaynutdin made these remarks during a meeting with Iran's Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance, Seyed Abbas Salehi, who is currently visiting Russia. The mufti praised the speeches by President Pezeshkian and the stance of Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi at the UN, highlighting them as reflections of Iran's rich cultural heritage and civilization.
The Grand Mufti emphasized that the cultural discourse and methods employed by the Iranian president in his speeches and interviews could serve as valuable lessons for politicians worldwide. He further noted that Muslims and the broader Russian populace support Iran's courageous stance and admire the resilience of the Iranian people.
