Tehran: In a significant step towards bolstering international tourism relations, Iran's Minister of Cultural Heritage, Tourism, and Handicrafts, Reza Salehi Amiri, engaged in constructive dialogue with South Africa's Minister of Tourism, Patricia de Lille. According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Salehi Amiri emphasized South Africa's strategic position as a gateway for Iran to access the broader African tourism market. He highlighted the importance of fostering connections between their private sectors, launching joint marketing efforts, and organizing familiarization tours aimed at media and tourism experts.
